其实，这个问题早前已经探讨过了，现在 Windows 8.1 即将正式推出，我们可以再次回顾一下。

从北京时间 10 月 17 日晚上 7 点开始，现有的 Windows 8 用户就能在 Windows 应用商店中免费下载 Windows 8.1，而Windows 8.1 也会在 10 月 18 日全球正式发售。

微软称，Windows 8.1 的生命周期和 Windows 8 相同。确切地说，Windows 8.1 的主流支持服务将在 2018 年 1 月 9 日结束，扩展支持服务则会在 2023 年 1 月 10 日到期。

在此提醒广大 Windows 8 用户，Windows 8.1 正式发布后，你们只有两年时间升级到 Windows 8.1，截止日期是 2015 年 10 月 18 日。
