据recent reports from Superdata, the ranking of global online game revenues for the first quarter of 2016 reveals that Tencent's games, including League of Legends (LOL), CrossFire (CF), and Dungeon Fighter Online (DNF), firmly hold the top three positions.
This trend is also evident in the ranking of online games in internet cafes.
Recently released data for December 2016 indicates that among the top ten online games favored in internet cafes, Tencent holds a dominant presence with seven titles, while NetEase contributes two, and Perfect World has one!
In addition to LOL, CF, and DNF, which continue to thrive, Tencent's other titles like Crossfire, QQ Speed, QQ Dance, and NBA 2K Online have also secured spots in the top five and among the top ten.
NetEase managed to stay competitive thanks to Overwatch and World of Warcraft, while Perfect World's Dota 2 has shown impressive performance, climbing from the tenth to the eighth position.
